We love our old brand’s identity, and it will forever be a part of our history, but after over ten years, it was starting to look past its prime. Also, for the past few years, we’ve been getting bigger and better at developing software and mobile applications, and we felt we needed a visual identity that reflected that evolution and encompassed everything that Foonkie is now. It was time for a change.
In that time, we also evolved from having some visibility as an app development partner to becoming an awarded global leader with a cemented position high up in the software and app development industry’s podium. After recognizing we needed a change, we had to create a compelling and engaging new brand identity. But our rebranding journey went beyond merely changing our colors and rehashing our logo. This 3D design was thoroughly planned and created in-house by our team of designers, who built the concept from scratch and gave our monkey its unique personality by donning it with countless gestures, outfits, and poses that gave our brand a much more modern, in-vogue identity. We also transformed our logotype to match the 3D design of our monkey and struck a beautiful balance between both to give birth to our new logo.
This change was not arbitrary but based on thorough research. As mentioned earlier, we found that our clients valued our unwavering commitment to data security, and they preferred us because of it. We decided that the concept of the Samurai, often seen as protector warriors, best aligned with our mission. We wanted our new logo to reflect our promise and determination to be the guardians of the security of our client’s applications and their sensitive data. So, we revamped our beloved monkey and transformed him into a dynamic, vibrant, and cool Samurai, a symbol that resonates with our mission and values.
Secondly, we completely transformed our brand’s color palette and chose new fonts to create a look that better aligned with the same goals we discussed above. We chose four soft, pastel, soothing colors that not only convey a sense of freshness but also safety, calmness, and reassurance. All these colors and new fonts perfectly match our new logo’s purpose and help us communicate a sense of coherence between the figure of the Samurai monkey and our new ethos based on data security and privacy protection.
- Transforming our website:
All of the elements that we redesigned in our search for creating a more modern and cutting-edge visual identity came together in our brand-new digital home. More than giving our site a facelift, we wanted to create a narrative woven around the user and simultaneously build a new canvas where we could etch our qualities, strengths, expertise, projects, milestones, accolades, and much more. With that in mind, we reorganized our services to give centerstage to our core offerings of FinTech and healthcare products, which are the center of the services we provide. Our team of developers and designers also revamped the look and feel of our old website and introduced our new visual identity.
